Overview of the role

• We are looking for a Content Creator to build relevant content to grow the Axis community, and to keep them active and engaged.
• This will involve creating financial education content, product content, and partnership content on different channels including the blog, social media, emails, video scripts, and promotional content like brochures.
• Content will have the objective to educate prospective consumers and to build awareness, trust, activation, and engagement.

What you’ll be doing

• Support the growth team to build a community of brand advocates by coming up with creative & unique content ideas & owning the content calendar
• Create engaging content to establish Axis as a thought leader in the financial space among a young, digital savvy Gen Z audience
• Research industry-related topics and new trends on social media and create content about these; Find clear references for content ideas & execute upon them
• Work cross-functionally with graphic designers, performance marketing manager, and growth manager to brainstorm, develop, and test new content topics & formats on the blog, video, emails, brochures etc.
• Develop content on social media platforms, including posts, articles, infographics, short-form content, reels, scripts and other branded/promotional content
• Write, proofread, edit, and update all types of content in English & Arabic
• Adopt the Axis tone of voice and create consistency across the different channels
• Understand potential consumer segments that we should target, & test online strategies, messaging, and campaigns to build awareness & trust to acquire new customers & engage with existing customers
• Understand our products to be able to educate customers about them in different content pieces including blog, social media, emails, in-app notifications etc.
• Work with the wider growth function on campaigns, such as new product launches, new segment launches, new partnerships etc.
• Demonstrate clear impact of your work on generating readership & leads

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience as a content creator creating engaging content & owning a content calendar
• Team leading experience is an amazing plus (as we want him/her to build a team of other junior creators later one )
• A good portfolio showing previous mix of experience including (social media posts, video scripts, blog posts)
• SEO expertise is a plus
• FinTech experience is plus
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English & Arabic
• Amazing time management & multi-tasking skills
• Willingness to understand motivations, behaviors, media consumption of potential target segments in order to come up with content ideas & execute against them
• Demonstrated track record of working with cross-functional teams to create engaging content for social media, blogs, and video
• Hyper creative in your approach to campaigns and copies
• Solid background in writing social media copy & blog content, and in driving interest and lead generation via best in class content
• Good knowledge of the competitive space and willingness to learn more
• Comfortable working in a scrappy startup environment
