Overview of the role

We are looking for Backend Developer (Java) a smart experienced with solid experience building high-performing, enterprise-grade applications. This role will be responsible for Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain backend services for our fintech applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.
• Actively participate in solving and troubleshooting issues in a distributed services ecosystem.
• Adherence to best coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices.
• Ensure the quality of technical and application architecture and design of systems across the organization.
• Effectively research and benchmark technology against other best-in-class technologies.

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Java
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot or any Java framework
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience and understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with either of: Go (Golang) or gRPC or Node is a big plus.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
