Overview of the Role

Financial planning is a set of planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical activities that support a company’s major business decisions and overall financial health.

What you’ll be doing

• Partner directly with the finance team to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Preparation of monthly financial statements highlighting significant events, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Deep dives into financial data and prep of financial reports and infographics.
• Create AD-HOC presentations that provide insightful analysis, and support for effective decision making.
• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
• Analyze the financial data and trends of key performance indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenses, and profit margin.
• Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments.
• Develop financial models and analyze them to support decision-making across the organization and strategic initiatives.
• Support the management team and Department Leaders with data-driven analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
• Consolidation of the group financial statements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting or Finance Major)
• 0-2 years of experience in FP&A Job.
• High analytical thinking and problem solving.
