Overview of the Role
The People Operations Specialist is responsible for managing and executing various HR processes and initiatives within the organization. This role involves handling a wide range of HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, and HR policy administration. The People Operations Specialist works closely with the HR team and other departments to ensure the smooth functioning of HR operations and the overall employee experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate new hire on boarding activities, including paperwork, orientation, and training programs.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Address employee concerns and grievances, escalating complex issues to the HR Manager as needed.
- Assist in maintaining positive employee relations through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs.
- Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Generate HR reports and analytics to support data-driven decision making.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of HR systems and tools.
- The employee relations specialist is responsible for managing the private Medical insurance provider, which includes:
- Adding new employees and their families to the Medical insurance network.
- Removing departing employees from the Medical insurance network.
- Reviewing invoices from the service provider.
- Monitoring the monthly medication dispensing and one-time treatments.
- Following up on medical approvals for employees from the service provider.
- Tracking financial reimbursements from the service provider.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or People Operations.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications.
- Experience in dealing with all government entities such as various social insurance offices, labor offices, and tax authorities in Egypt
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint,Excel,Word)
