Job Overview

As the UEMOA Compliance Associate, you will be at the forefront of shaping how compliance supports and accelerates Capi’s mission in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) region, especially in Senegal and Ivory Coast.

You will perform frontline compliance tasks for our business in West Africa, ensuring customer onboarding and transaction monitoring adheres to local laws and regulations, and will implement processes that reflect localised compliance policies. Beyond this, your role will be to assist other Capi teams in presentations to Capi’s banking partners, handle local bank RFIs and periodic requests from our bank partners in connection with our local licensing obligations. You will position Compliance as a trusted business partner—one that enables innovation, fosters strong relationships with internal teams, and safeguards Capi’s reputation.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to building a compliance culture that is curious, proactive, data-driven, and customer-centric—where compliance is not a blocker, but an enabler of Capi’s vision to serve customers with excellence in West Africa.
