About the Commercial Team
Our commercial team is the heartbeat of Capi - a collective of curious, driven, and hands-on builders. They’re constantly out in the field, meeting customers, uncovering their challenges, and designing real solutions that make cross-border payments simpler and faster. Powered by HubSpot, they stay structured and data-minded, transforming each interaction into insight, and every insight into growth.

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic General Manager to lead Capi’s commercial growth and operations.
You will own the full business performance in your market - building, managing, and scaling teams, driving customer acquisition and revenue growth, and ensuring operational excellence.
As Capi’s senior leader locally, you’ll be the bridge between customers, the team, and global leadership. You’ll combine strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring we deliver exceptional customer experiences while achieving ambitious growth targets.
This is a hands-on leadership role that blends commercial, operational, and people management responsibilities. It requires field presence with customers, partners, and institutions to deeply understand the market and drive measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership & Growth
Define and execute the go-to-market strategy to achieve growth targets in transaction volume and revenue.
Set clear sales and performance goals, managing teams to deliver consistent results.
Identify and pursue new opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments aligned with Capi’s mission and strategy.
Monitor market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive trends to refine local positioning.
Team Leadership & People Development
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing cross-functional team spanning sales, account management, and operations.
Foster a culture of curiosity, ownership, and customer obsession.
Coach managers and individual contributors to ensure strong execution and professional development.
Design team structures and processes that support scale and agility.
Operational & Financial Excellence
Oversee day-to-day business operations, ensuring seamless execution across customer onboarding, compliance, and service delivery.
Own financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost efficiency.
Partner with central teams in Finance, Product, Compliance, and Operations to align priorities and improve processes.
Uphold high standards in customer experience, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Stakeholder Management & External Relations
Represent Capi with partners, institutions, regulators, and key business stakeholders.
Build and maintain trusted relationships that strengthen Capi’s credibility and market position.
Act as the public face of Capi, sharing our mission and building awareness in the business ecosystem.
Customer-Centric Strategy
Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring feedback informs product and service improvements.
Lead strategic client relationships and ensure consistent delivery of value.
Translate customer insights into actionable plans to enhance retention, satisfaction, and lifetime value.
Requirements
Experience
7–10 years of experience in commercial or general management roles within high-growth companies, ideally in fintech, payments, banking, or B2B financial services.
Proven success in scaling teams, driving revenue, and managing cross-functional operations.
Demonstrated experience leading people and owning business performance end to end.
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and team management skills - able to inspire, motivate, and drive accountability.
Strategic thinker with solid analytical, financial, and operational judgment.
Excellent communicator and relationship builder, fluent in English and other relevant business languages.
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in dynamic, fast-changing environments.
Skilled at using CRM and data tools to drive decisions and track performance.
