We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our expanding Australian team. You won't just be "keeping the lights on" - you would be a foundational member of our APAC engineering hub. You will work closely with our existing team members geographically based all around the world while also trying to figure out how to grow a local team.
Key Responsibilities
Incident Ownership: Act as the primary responder for high-priority production incidents during the Australian business day.
Product Evolution: Work with the core product team to identify recurring support patterns and develop automated fixes or feature enhancements.
Collaboration: Participate in daily handovers with EMEA and US teams to ensure seamless continuity of operations.
Mentorship: Help foster a collaborative culture, sharing knowledge and performing code reviews.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or high-level Product Support roles.
Technical Stack: Proficiency in AWS/GCP, Bazel, gRPC, Java/Golang/Python
Mindset: A "team-first" attitude. You understand that local success depends on the collective health and communication of the AU pod.
Communication: Exceptional ability to document complex issues for a global, asynchronous audience.
