Admin & HR compliance
- Ensure we are able to onboard our new joiners the best way; any information that is relevant on our HR systems, IT setup, Office and Managers,.
- Formalize contractual elements during all the employees’ journey (labor contracts, amendments, certificates),
- Take care of our HR information and tasks and update them each time it is needed,
- Manage immigration requests (work permits obtentions, renewals, National Security Number request),
- Assist with HR compliance requirements in the UK, US and France including employment law and regulations.
- Coordinate employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Overseeing daily HR operations concerning employee inquiries to ensure prompt and effective responses
- Following-up with occupational medicine, mandatory declarations and surveys
- Manage time off policies, vacation/PTO, sick time, public holidays and other types of employee leave.
- Coordinate with external vendors to deliver services to our Employees.
- Ensure legal compliance and mitigate the Company’s risk by having a basic understanding of relevant employment laws (specifically France; UK & US).
- Maintain employee handbooks.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with all local regulations.
Payroll:
- Prepare and process payroll for employees in the UK, US and France
- Update the relevant matrices on a daily basis,
- Provide the needed information on time to our providers and to the Finance team to ensure our employees will be paid on time,
- Be part of the cross-validations,
- Lead any process optimization initiatives (automation, providers benchmark, etc.
Employee Relations:
- Assist with resolving employee relations issues, including disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
Team work:
- Build close partnerships and drive cross-functional projects with a lot of various teams such as Talent Acquisition, Office manager & Finance.
Profile
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally including experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Strong knowledge of the French law & HR policy as well as experience working cross geographies
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, as well as HR best practices.
- Ideally, cross country experience, managing employee populations spread in different geographies
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and drive results.
- A thorough understanding of local, national, and international payroll regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance and avoid penalties. This includes staying updated on changes in legislation that may affect payroll procedures, including work permits and visas
- Proficiency in streamlining HR processes to enhance efficiency, improve employee experience, and maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Experience managing the employee lifecycle from onboarding to retention, and exit
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
