🎯 Your main goal will be to drive company-wide adoption of AI and automation to create a modern, efficient, and enjoyable workplace, and turn n8n into a visible exemplar of how SaaS companies work with AI.
To do so, here are your responsibilities:
Internal adoption programs
Design and run hackathons, enablement sessions, and dogfooding initiatives that boost daily AI and automation usage.
Build repeatable programs with clear success metrics such as participation, satisfaction, and business impact.
Partner with People Ops to embed AI and automation habits into onboarding, L&D, and performance rituals.
AI watch & insights
Lead a structured AI watch to track market trends, peer practices, and emerging tools.
Translate insights into prioritized pilots, process improvements, and internal guidance.
Define guardrails and best practices that balance speed, safety, and measurable outcomes.
Content & evangelism
Ensure creation of reusable internal assets and external-facing content that showcases our AI and automation practices.
Collaborate with Marketing to amplify internal success stories and thought leadership.
Equip Sales and GTM with narratives, demos, and artifacts that demonstrate modern ways of working.
Team leadership & delivery
Lead the Automation team, directly managing one manager plus team while scaling from 2 to 15+ in 2026.
Set vision, OKRs, and performance standards, and coach for results while fostering experimentation and innovation.
Oversee automation product delivery and cross-functional execution with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Biz Ops.
REQUIREMENTS
Must-haves
👥 Proven team leadership: You have led managers and ICs, set clear standards, and grown high-performing teams.
🧠 AI fluency: You are technically conversant in AI concepts and can evaluate tools, risks, and opportunities.
🛠️ Workflow automation expertise: You have hands-on experience with automation platforms, ideally n8n or similar, and real business use cases.
🚀 Adoption and change leadership: You have driven internal adoption programs that changed behaviors at scale.
🔎 Insight to action: You translate market trends into actionable programs, playbooks, and internal content.
Nice-to-haves
💼 B2B SaaS experience: You have operated in a high-growth SaaS environment at a similar stage.
🧑💻 Engineering background: You are comfortable diving into technical discussions and solution design.
✍️ Storytelling and content: You create clear, engaging content for internal and external audiences.
🎉 Program facilitation: You have run hackathons, enablement tracks, or internal innovation programs.
