What you'll be doing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Designer to join our team at n8n. As a Staff Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our product. You will be embedded in one of our teams, tackling some of our most complex design and product challenges as well as work on some company wide design & product initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Part of building a best-in-class product design function at n8n. We're looking for someone who knows what good looks and can take our Design team through a growth journey.
  • Engage with and deeply understand our users. You grasp their needs and pain points from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives, continually striving to enhance their experience.
  • Contribute to vision setting and strategic direction of the overall n8n product, working closely with other leaders to move toinwards a common goal.
  • Lead and execute high-impact design projects that provide significant value to both customers and the business.
  • Working with the people team and CEO to define team composition for Design @ n8n, then hiring managing and coaching that team towards success. (Both for n8n, and as individuals pursuing their own career goals!)
  • Product discovery — take ideas from conception to design, user testing and rapid iteration to make sure that they work
