Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the company's HR strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives
  • Manage HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and talent development
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to understand their business goals and develop people initiatives that support their success
  • Design and deliver programs that foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing company culture
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and develop action plans to address any identified areas of improvement
  • Develop and manage the company's performance management process, ensuring it is fair, consistent, and aligned with company goals and values
  • Manage employee relations and performance issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees as needed
  • Manage the company's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, fair and cost-effective
  • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure the company's policies, procedures and programs comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide thought leadership on best practices in people management and development and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Key goals and projects will include (but not limited to);

  • Levelling up Protex AI’s hiring and interview process
  • Building Protex AI’s employee experience strategy
  • Developing programs to optimise employee retention
  • Development of processes, programs, and policies
  • Defining a repeatable, scaleable hiring process for each function
  • Includes interview process, anonymous feedback process, culture & values interview etc

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a People Leader role at an early-stage tech company is a must (bonus if the company was remote)
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and programs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and handle multiple priorities
  • A passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture
