The opportunity

Join our Engineering team as an IT Infrastructure Engineer, working at the intersection of cutting-edge science and technology. As a part of the team, you will collaborate with our machine learning, data science, and wet lab teams to build and maintain the critical infrastructure that powers our scientific discoveries.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems supporting core organisational functions.

  • Monitor, maintain, and support servers, networks, firewalls, networked laboratory equipment and cloud accounts.

  • Manage user accounts, privileges, and permissions.

  • Implement system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance.

  • Promote cyber security practices across the organisation.

Professionally, you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in IT operations.

  • In-depth technical understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks).

  • Proven experience administering Unix/Linux/Windows machines.

  • Proven experience promoting cyber security practices.

  • Proven experience with MDM software and Identity Management Systems.
