About the role

Taktile is a high-growth, post product-market-fit start-up, on a fast trajectory to becoming market leader in the field of automated decisioning. We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our Platform team tasked with integrating security practices throughout our development lifecycle and keeping Taktile safe from all cybersecurity threats. You'll work at the intersection of development, operations, and security, implementing automated security solutions that protect our platform while enabling continuous delivery. This is a hands-on technical security role with real impact: you'll build secure Cloud Environments, CI/CD pipelines, implement security automation, and create a culture of "security as code".

What You'll Do

• Harden our Cloud Environment and IaC setup

• Implement security controls and scanning tools within our CI/CD pipeline to enable secure, continuous delivery

• Automate security testing, vulnerability management, and compliance checks in our AWS serverless architecture

• Design and implement Security Standards for Product, SDLC and Organization with an emphasis on "shift-left" security practices

• Grow as an individual and accelerate your career by learning from our experienced team, contributing to a foundational layer of the product, and joining cross-team learning groups.

Requirements:

• Taktile is a hybrid company with options to work from either our Berlin HQ in Germany, our London office, or the Iasi Hub in Romania. Taktile will not cover relocation services for this role.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential as we operate in a hybrid environment requiring clear and effective communication.

• Strong engineering fundamentals with a passion for security automation and DevOps practices

Ideal, But Not Required

• Security certifications – e.g., CISSP, CKS, AWS Security, Certified DevSecOps Professional

Required Experience

• 3+ years in DevSecOps or security engineering roles, with experience in CI/CD security integration

• Strong experience with AWS security services, IAM, and infrastructure-as-code security practices

• Expertise in DevSecOps tooling and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab/GitHub security scanning, container security)

• Experience with automated security testing, SAST/DAST tools, and compliance-as-code

• Solid programming skills in Python, Bash, Terraform, and experience with container orchestration
