About the role:

Support the establishment of a best in class finance and accounting function. You will own transactional accounting with the focus on improving our current processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Employee and contractor expense management

• OPEX invoice processing

• Invoice finance, including forecasting, transaction management and potentially product improvement to automate

• Support the daily operation of the accounting team

• Support establishing the month-end close process for such as prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, inventory and balance sheet reconciliation

• Ad-hoc requests
  

Requirements:

• Part qualified accountant (e.g ACCA, CIMA)

• UK VAT and tax knowledge is highly desirable

• Xero experience

• Worked at a start-up company or in a fast-paced environment

• Proven record of process improvements

• Control and critical mindset, not afraid of challenging current processes

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Highly organised and able to prioritise workload

• Independent worker with the ability to hit deadlines and targets
