About the Role

We are seeking a Documentation Lead to transform our documentation into a strategic asset. This role is not just about writing technical documentation but treating it as a living product that guides our users through their journey with Unleash, from discovery to mastery.


  • Strategic Development: Develop and implement a long-term documentation strategy that aligns with Unleash’s broader goals.
  • Content Creation & Management: Produce clear, accurate, and engaging documentation. Manage the documentation lifecycle, ensuring it evolves with our product.
  • Educational Empathy: Infuse empathy for learners into our documentation, ensuring it supports and enhances their learning journey with Unleash.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, DevRel, and Customer Journey teams to ensure technical accuracy and timely updates.
  • User-Centric Focus: Help refine user personas and journey maps to ensure documentation meets our audience’s needs at every stage.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain high standards for all documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Analytics: Utilize analytics tools to monitor and understand user engagement with our documentation.
  • SEO Optimization: Apply SEO best practices to enhance the accessibility and visibility of our documentation.
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with our user community for feedback and improvements.


  • 3+ years of proven experience in technical writing or documentation management.
  • Strong understanding of software development and feature flagging concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with documentation tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and analytics tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • A user-focused mindset with a strong emphasis on user experience in documentation.


This role may be located in Europe or the US.
