Job Description

About the role:
Are you passionate about helping developers be more productive? To allow teams to experiment on a daily basis? Do you want to work full-time building the open-source feature management service adopted from small startups to big world scale corporations?
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive the roadmap for a SaaS platform in AWS, with state of the art security, reliability and scalability.
- Ability to plan and execute projects involving a mix of cloud engineers and full-stack developers.
- Represent the company in technical / commercial discussions with prospects and customers about enterprise level infrastructure and complex deployment use cases.
- Implement best practices in incident prevention, detection and handling.
- Develop Unleash product, both Open-Source and Enterprise
- Implement and improve the Unleash SDKs, Edge, other peripheral components or back office systems.
- Interact with our fast growing open source community, and share knowledge with development teams around the world.
About you:
- 5+ years experience in leading platform or infrastructure teams building a SaaS product.
- Experience balancing operational needs (availability, performance, and scalability) with security and compliance investments.
- 10+ years experience in building and maintaining SaaS applications, specifically in cloud computing technologies. Examples: AWS (such as EC2, RDS, IAM, EKS, NLB, Guard Duty), kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, karpenter, Victoriametrics.
- You’ve acted as On Call SRE and Incident Commander in a structured Incident Handling Process.
- Intermediate experience in full-stack development, in particular Node.js, TypeScript and React.js
- You like to build stuff together with others and honor different opinions
- You can empathize with our users and you have curiosity about how they see the product.
- You are analytical and data driven in your technical decisions, but you can recognize when to use the team’s gut feeling to speed up a decision.
