We are currently looking for an energetic Financial Director growing into Chief Financial Officer (CFO) offering an incredible opportunity to receive a competitive salary and meaningful equity shares in the hottest startup in the UK 🔥 In this role you will manage the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic business decisions through insightful financial analysis.

Your Mission

• Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
• Accounting and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and financial forecasting processes, providing detailed analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Compliance and Control: Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for business operations.
• Tax Planning: Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
• Strategic Planning and Pricing: Collaborate with the product and sales teams to develop pricing strategies for our products and services. Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to ensure our offerings remain competitive while also meeting our financial objectives.
• Team Leadership: Manage and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in the B2B payments or fintech sector.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Proficient in accounting software and systems, with a preference for candidates with experience in ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
